IMAN ABDULMAJID

Iman is a high-fashion model from Somalia known for her lithe frame and serene good looks. She was born the daughter of a Somali diplomat. She was studying political science in Nairobi, Kenya, when a fashion photographer named Peter Beard encouraged her to move to New York to purse modeling. She is known for being one of the first Black women to appear in Vogue and Revlon. She is an actress, an entrepeneur (who owns her own cosmetic company), a model and a wonderful role model to many. We love the doors that she has opened to many other models and claim her as a living legend.
